i don't have farmland, just moving back to my old house with a side/back/front yard. i didn't even know it took a long time for asparagus to grow, i love that stuff. ginseng sounds dope. when i was younger there was always walnut fruits on the road by me, never knew what they were until much later. went to an apple farm on a field trip when i was little, such sweet crisp smells. i'll definitely invest in some berry shrubs and trees i think..
i noticed that i have a lot of wild garlic growing in my yard too, along with purple basil and mint still going strong. would love to get into planting roses, specifically damask. i've grown very fond of rose water like in lebanese tea. here's a pic of my peach tree at the edge of the yard. i'll definitely look into fencing/wiring up! i don't really know how to map out my garden yet.
