>>2452640Anon, 5 years ago I was in almost exactly the same situation. Made a plan to get /out/ and stuck to it. Saved up what I could, packed everything I cared to keep into my truck, and followed the ALCAN to Fairbanks, Alaska. Best decision of my life.
You have $1k saved, so you're not a total NEET and that's just enough to relocate with. You or anyone else who can:
>put in an honest day's work>tolerate the cold>just wants to be left the fuck alone can make it up here.
Winter is just around the corner, but everyone is hiring, from the local megacorp franchises to the Mom & Pop locals. You won't freeze.
Get in with the latter, you'll start at around $20/hr on a HS diploma doing good, honest work with great people and live 10 minutes from the best /out/ of your life. Be diligent. In a few years you'll have the funds, skills, and connections to chase your dreams, and even catch some of 'em.
AMA about giving modern society a single-digit salute I guess.
