I personally needed a pack with chest and waist strap, that weighed less than two pounds, could carry at least 55l and last me for thousands of miles of long distance hiking.
I'be spent consecutive weeks /out/ with this bag.

But yeah, if you want to play Bear Grylls in your grandpa's 4 acres of land for a couple of hours your pack will probably do fine, anon.
Also don't give a shit where anything is made, but people who actually goes /out/ sometimes need gear that amounts to more than a mylar blanket and a tacticool bookbag. And yes, sometimes that is expensive.
I understand you're angry that you can't afford gear decent enough to run away from home, but don't please don't pretend that all gear is equal, and cheaper is better.
