You can then cast spoons in places you think fish night be hanging out., spinners with Bucktails or feathers at the end work well. Try mimicking a smart fish when retrieving your spoon or spinner.
Just remember to secure your rod if you will be trolling off the back of your canoe, and try getting your trolled spoon deeper than 15 feet.
