/out/ and similar boards like /trv/ and /diy/ escaped the 2016 election tourists by being slow boards, but COVID brought in an influx of newfags that destroyed both /out/ and /trv/ this past year.
Even if the posting slows down, the damage has been done, and many oldfags who made /out/ a comfy place won't ever return.
