I'm new to /out/. I'm switching from /b/. Personally I use the Eagle nest outfitters (ENO) hammock. The ability to stuff it all in a 6 inch sack comes in handy. I purchased mine from REI for about $240 awhile back and I love it. If I were you I'd go with the double nest version. It adds a little more comfort room. It's cheaper to buy the one link system than to piece it out. The one link come with the hammock of your choice and color. The guardian XL bugnet and the profly rain tarp I believe and the straps. It weighs maybe 5 lbs total for everything. I would defiantly check it out if I were you
