Not to start up the old Stihl vs. Husky argument but I'm a Stihl guy. Of the few local dealers here the best one is mainly a Stihl dealer and they'll happily stick with you through any difficulties, plus in my experience I find Stihls a little simpler to perform maintenance on - although I'd likely be saying that about Husky if I used one of them every day instead but there you are. I honestly can't say I have a favorite model but maybe that's just because I cut wood for a living so I tend to use different saws for different jobs, I tend to find sharing some basic maintenance or sharpening knowledge can help occasional users more than recommending different saws, although some cut differently.
