>>958011There's nothing wrong with them. The only time I've seen them break is because of accidents or neglect. Same with all rods actually. The only problems I've had with them is that they sometimes get stuck in the open position or while you are fighting a fish, one section will collapse. There's a balance between too tight and not tight enough when you extend it. On some models, lining up the eyes takes a while because of that problem with tightness.
