>>1698690>>1698685>CrocsI'll give them props for being pretty much the only piece of footwear on the market that fit my retarded duck feet (narrow heel, broad/spread out toes) decently well - nearly all other shoes no matter if trainers, dress shoes, dedicated hiking boots etc etc push my big toe inwards, causing callus buildup on the outer side of the big toe.
While comfy around the house, I would not recommend them for hiking though, especially not without socks. Not only will you have more sweat buildup after 15 minutes than you have after an 8 hour, 50km hike with proper wool socks and boots, but the rubber will also give you nasty skin irritation - not chemically but from friction. Did the mistake and walked maybe 1km in them casually one day, it made the area of the "tongue" sore, that shit hurt for a good week
