>>1026437If you want a knife that will hold an edge and do knife things really well, get the Knives of Alaska Bush Camp knife, it's right in your price range and it isn't super thick but not too thin either. Yeah, i've batonned mine through seasoned mesquite and it will do it and stay sharp, I modded mine to a near FFG with gimping and i removed the riccasso (don't like ricasso's) it's wicked sharp and I have absolutely no fear of the edge rolling or chipping. It's a knife I can solidly recommend, but you don't have to take my word for it, even Nutn' loves this knife.
