>>1175785>Biggest danger is log jamsMy buddy and I went down a local creek after a big rain for shits and giggles, the only section of river capable of going through in one spot was covered by a logjam and a fallen tree, there was one spot maybe 3 feet wide that the canoe possibly could fit through, otherwise we'd flow right into a mess of wood. Even still we'd have to plow through a bunch of sharp branches. We didn't have any time to think about it, so we just paddled as best as we could to steer us on the right track, and at the last minute we both jumped to the floor of the canoe. We cleared the tree by a couple inches, but the branches tore up our backs pretty good. Pic kinda related, different trip.
