Preferably you live without electricity at all in a survival situation, but supposing you really, absolutely must generate electricity. Do you really want to rely on a battery with a finite life? Do you really want to take a gamble that gasoline and other petroleum-based power fuels will not be scarce?
Pic related to discussion; would human power be a plausible means of keeping this battery topped off, granted that you were able to procure the excess calories needed without much additional difficulty?
Are there ways to convert woodburning stoves to electrical generating contraptions? What about solar power or water power on a small, preferably mobile scale?
