Went fly fishing today. 3 hour drive, spent the whole day in freezing rain learning how to nymph fish with an Orvis group. Had awful luck getting tangled, failed knots, etc... and sucked at setting the hook on time. Finally managed to hook two small rainbows just as I was working my way back to the car to leave for the day.
Lost my lucky hat though. Hint: Never put anything on top of your car prior to driving home. It tends to not be on top of your car when you get home after driving 80 mph for 3 hours.
