Even though the grip is a little bit bulky for my hands, its feel like something I wanted: A knife that is a tool and not a decoration. Sturdy. Something you can trow in the mud without worry. Still have to fieldtest it though.
Same goes for the X7 axe I also recieved today. First thing I noticed: The orange part, where you normaly grip it, feels more slippery than the basic black parts. I'm curious how this will feel during usage and if it will be a downside.
Back to gloves:
I pinned it down to the Mechanix 4x, which apperantly really are much more durable than the normal mechanix gloves (more value for the buck).
The question is: Original (30€ Amazon) or M-Pact (35€ Amazon) model?
Suggestion, experiences? Does the extra padding on the m-pact reduze dexterity? Will it improve durability? Comfort?
