>>1903168What are you referring to by "most functions"? Of course if you want to use your watch to check the weather or use other applications that would require an internet connection. But where it's possible, the watch works without internet. For example it caches old weather reports if you haven't had connection for two hours or whatever, you can even use your watch to listen to music and podcasts you've previously downloaded to your watch, all the workout and general health tracking works completely without internet, etc etc.
It has GPS built-in and a shitload of sensors that it won't need an internet connection or even your phone for.
