Vast majority of experts agree staying at your home should be default option, than evacuation by vehicles. Assuming you would always be able to evacuate by car creates a gap. A backpack can still be thrown in car trunk or it's content used when sheltering at your house. Also city preppers don't feel safe to prospect staying in their tiny appartments in bad neighbourhoods
