Hello /out/, I'm taking a 6 day road trip to colorado in june. I'm staying with some friends in colorado springs the night I arrive, and intend to see the garden of the gods the following day. I was considering going from there to black rock canyon on the 3rd day, and either camping the night in the canyon or just dayhiking there and sleeping in my car.
Do any of you have a reccomendation for where to go on the last 2 days before heading home? I'm coming from northwest arkansas so the first and last days will be taken up with driving. I've seen the great sand dunes, the flatirons, and spent a day in Estus park before, now I'm attracted to the uniqueness of black canyon.
Should I reserve another day there? More time in garden of the gods? I might try one of the 14s if weather and time allow. Thank you for any advice and If there's a thread I should have posted this in I apologize.
