The big bowfin I caught when I was a little kid at this tiny pond we fished daily. Caught it on 1/2 a bluegill and had no idea what it was.
The time I caught my friend's rod at that same pond. Carp pulled his rod into the water, I caught his rod 20min later, he grabbed the rod and reeled in the carp that pulled his rod in.
The time some Mexican gave me $5 for a carp at that pond.

First peacock that wasn't a baby
Biggest peacock I got a pic of (actual biggest jumped out of my hand). I didn't expect peacocks in this little lake, saw the flash of gold and it dug into this huge glob of that stringy algae shit so it was like a 2lb fish with 10lb of weeds and I didn't know it was a peacock until I cleared off the weeds.
And that monster that I didn't catch, had to be a snakehead, one of those 40"+ monsters. Or one of those sharks that venture into freshwater, but probably a snek.
