There's too much soil in one of the other beds and I need to consolidate soil from a 3rd bed and amend soil with sand and old composted manure (located under all the Glechoma hederacea in the foreground). So, I had to extend this bed, temporarily. It uses limbs from a recently felled tree and ancient rotten lumber. This will be the pumpkin bed again this season.
>>1751078Same here. There's always something stupid happening. Like a tree crushing the fence or a groundhog digging under the fence and foxes or minks getting in for daylight/evening raids. Or, hawks pick off the slower younger birds.
