2. Hold spool on a pencil with feet/hands or recruit another person if you're a normie
3. Adjust appendages/partner pressure on the spool by more/less skin touching it
4. When you feel it's nice and tight, reel smoothly
5 (extra tips). Make sure to tie a good knot from backing to braid, and buy more braid than you think you'll need, either guestimate backing amounts with some quick maffs or buy/use a cheap and shitty reel to spool braid + backing on in reverse and the reel it onto the actual reel.
We've all made a stinky by dropping the business end of a braid pile at some stage, don't get demotivated.
