I want to get back into fishing. I recently found an old Ozark Trail collapsible fishing pole my dad got me 12 years ago. I plan on taking it on my first backpacking day trip of the year come April, as there are many ponds on the trails I frequent.
What all do I need to do to get it back into action? I will be replacing the line due to its age, but need to know what kind of artificial baits will work best for my expected game (bluegill). I will just be catch and release fishing for the moment.
