>>2613323Not really a hammock but I have a hanging tree tent like picrel. Its fucking awesome.
When I got it, I spent about a day figuring out how all the straps worked, setting it up in my back yard, sorting out what was necessary vs what wasn't, etc. Then I took it up to this really secluded spot on a local mountain, a cliff waaay off the main trail, deep in the woods and past a fuck ton of rocks and briars, where normalfags don't dare to tread. Got to the cliff in question, the only problem with the place is the wildlife. One of the perks of no people is that there are lizards, birds, etc, but also a fuck ton of aggressive bugs. I used to take a normal hammock up there which was small enough to fit in my daybag, but I decided that the tree tent would be fun to test out up there. I got the super lightweight one the "Tentsile Flite", but I got a 2-person tent since I'm tall, and it was still lightweight enough to run through the trail with my daybag inside the tent bag. Got there and set it up really fucking high in about ten minutes. The bug net is built-in to the tent itself, but can be unzipped on two sides if you like stargazing. Immediately upon entering the tent, the bugfags that would normally attack me just ran into the net, and I spent the rest of the day straight chilling.
9/10, logistics are the only semi-issue, otherwise its perfect, bugcels seething.
