Given the recent global events, myself, my brother and our partners (2 males, 2 females total) have decided it would be in our best interests to have bug out bags ready, just in case shit hits the fan. We plan on hiking about 110 (or 150 if THE HAPPENING occurs while I'm at work) km away to a secluded stream where I have a seed cache in a small cave. We each will be carrying our own 40L backpack which we already own.
So far we each have
7 MRE's
Medical kit, including amphetamines, benzos, painkillers, antibiotics (amoxycillin) and antihistamines
Spare underwear and socks (selected for durability and comfort)
Water purification tablets
Swag (sleeping bag and tent had a bastard child together)
Thermal blanket
Camelback
2 bic lighters
2 boxes matches
Flint and tinder
Bug spray
Hunting knife
Wood carving knife
Eating utensils
Magic berry tablets
Map and compass
flashlights
Additionally we have these items spread across all of our bags
2 Shovel and pick heads
2 Collapsible pots
2 Tarps 4 x 4 meters
2 Camo nets 6 x 12 meters
10 kg of dried beans total
4 splints
Large bandages
2 Chainsaw chains
2 10m roll of trapping wire
2 15m rope (1000kg strength)
10 rolls of fishing line (not sure of strength or length - not in my bag)
The seed cache contains
cannabis
tomato
beans
carrot
potato
turnip
We have approximately 12-15L left in the bags and I was wondering what you guys would suggest (if anything). Please note we live in a nogunz country, so firearms are not an option.
