There's an abundance of mutts out there that would love to go on adventures. Get em young and train them. Imo all dogs need activity every day. There are exceptions but in general only get working breeds if you can and will commit to doing a lot with your dog every single day. Here's my shepherd lab mutt mix. Smart and friendly he's a very good boy.
