I've tried a lot of knives. Some quite expensive.
Mora companion and mora bushcraft are good knives. I like carbon steel but that's just me.
Nice for what I usually do: No problem skinning and gutting, cuts well and handle doesn't slip with blood. Good for peeling potatoes and other vegetables too.
And maybe compliment with this Tops Fieldcraft knife for doing stuff with wood. Pic related.
Or a Condor Bushlore but those need a bit of work to fix minor flaws before use.
