>>302281>Sorry to hear about the dog issues. Its my folks. They're dumb. They babied them (they don't act like normal dogs and just sit next to the door until they come home, don't chase balls, don't jump on people when they come home) and the worst part is they let them shit and piss all over the backyard so they're kind of my enemies for now.
>>302281>Having lived in California for a time you are getting a late startLate start on what?
>but great growing with water.Explain that too... there is supposedly a shortage here.
>You might consider a worm farm those worked for me in the past and they are semi dog proof.Whats a worm farm? I love Earthworms they are awesome. I found maybe 4 of em in the patch in my pictures also in this one when I was preparing the soil. Would love more, they are definitely welcome! :) The last resort (I have to move to the city for grad school/getting a job) is setting up an electric fence (my folks are STUPID and I feel its the only way the dogs will learn) so I'm torn on what to do.. I don't want em hurting my plants either (these are honestly like my children!) I'm also growing Tansy, Wormwood, and Calendula SOLELY for the purpose of keeping dogs away (they apparently hate the smells of those plants). With corn, I'm doing 2 rows, 14' long, about 3' wide with beans, zucchini, sunflowers, and dill interspersed. With my berries (my most prized fruit, I have bird netting I bought ready to install and the plant varieties shouldn't be larger than 5' tall so I'm going to trellis train em and keep them safe from the birds.
Heres the latest update of the box with the Bee Balm transplant (from buying it at the Home Depot sale earlier) and 2 carrots at the top I mentioned in
