Spyderco makes many knives with all of those locks, all of those locks are very easy to use one handed after getting used to the knife, and unlike the Axis lock, are not prone to common spring failure. There are very few locks that don’t get easy to use one handed if you just take a bit of time to practice and get used to it.
Yes there is a lot of Spyderco shilling in the thread, a lot of it from me, but that’s because Spyderco is the most note worthy competitor to BM, and is better in a lot of ways notable ways.
As much as I love Spyderco I actually recommend Cold Steels more often, they just make better value utilitarian designs, but for people looking in the price range of Benchmade, Spyderco and ZT are generally more comparable material and design wise. I’m no more of a shill for Spyderco when talking about BM then I’m a shill for Cold Steel/Kershaw when talking about Gerber/CRKT/SOG, or I’m a shill for Hinderer/Strider when talking about CRK.
