Here in BC, an absolute paradise for off-roaders, the restrictions on off-road vehicles are immensely layered, at least since 2015. It took me two weeks, a public notary, 4 separate insurance brokers, and $150 to get my Big Red plates and insurance so that I can ride it on logging roads. And even now with my plates half of the service roads around here specifically restrict off-road vehicle use. Obviously there's still plenty of places to rip around and enjoy ourselves, wouldn't be posting in this thread otherwise, but man it would have been nice to have gotten into this 10 or more years ago.
