I want to catch aquarium (nongame) fish in the wild for sale in the hobby trade. That is, within sustainable harvest limits, and without using cyanide, etc. How do this legally? What licenses do I need? Yeah I could also just breed aquarium fish in captivity, but I feel catching wild fish would give me the best sense of their natural needs in the wild as well as providing fresh genes for my breeding stock if necessary.
