sounds like a really good idea, but the main problem is women. How on earth would you get sufficient women there without kidnapping them? The only way i could see this working out is that everyone who goes was forced to bring a wife, or a least a girl that was willing to mate with some guy that the person just met on the Internet.

other problems like the need for qualified people might pop up aswell, it's a nice idea but i think we should go back to play age of empires to not see the Major downsides of building such a civilisation.
