Hi /out/ I'm a /k/ommando up in the PNW. I need to get some hiking boots. Before now I've been using my Salomon Speedcross 3's but they have no ankle support and the tread is worn out. I usually went with trail runners before but now I want some better ankle support.
I loved my Salomons and heard that the Quest 4D 3 GTX is elite. Any opinions on them?
I'm not sure exactly *what* I need and that's why I'm here. Here's some info that may help.
