Kid sucked at casting a fly rod as you can imagine but kinda proud that I got the random kid interested in it and absolutely made his day. My wife is pregnant with a boy right now and I cannot wait for it to be born and grow old enough to take fishing. I'm sorry to the parents out there whose kid is now asking for a fly rod for Christmas and realizes how stupidly expensive they can be.
