They're not big enough to be any good for hard use so the extra thickness accomplishes nothing but making them harder to sharpen, not cut as well, and weigh more. The 511 basic is the best Mora and incidentally the cheapest too. It also has the best finger guard and ergonomics. It's the only "small fixed blade" I would ever buy. Though I prefer to just use a box cutter for 90% of shit and a hatchet for everything else.
