Main reason I went with a 3/4-ton is because of the tow/haul performance. My '99 1500 had a tough time with my trailer in the mountains.
Not really an "RV", closer to a toy-hauler, still mostly just a trailer. Outfitted with a furnace, electrical, batt charger, insulation. Designed to be a place out of the snow/wind/rain to change and sleep, then pull sleds from place to place.
