It amazes me how many hobby gardeners dont realize the benefits of own seeds saving, acclimatizing and breeding your plants. People just keep buying new seeds year after year and never unleash the full potential of their plants. Nobody have the exact same micro climate, gardening habits and preferences as you. Its also fun to play with new hybrids and see what comes up. You can save a lot of money in the long run and get more vigorous and prolific plants. Just pay attention and pick plants that you like.
Its not maybe practical in large scale put there is literally no reason to do it in your own garden. Saving seeds from most plants is not really that hard and what is better than growing your own variety that is breed for your exact location?
