>>2615626get a pair of nylon zip off cargos
i also really like ripstop nylon ballet/track 'warm up pants' for hiking especially when its too hot for real pants but there's too many ticks for shorts. they're like $10 on amazon.
>>2616446get the wrangler outdoor cargos, they're like $30 and just as good as any $100 pair i have in the closet. comparable to the old pranas everyone used to rave about. only missing feature is the gusseted climbing crotch.
pretty sure wal*mart carries them.
theres a kuhl pair that anons really like too haven't tried it.
they have a pair that's really similar to brions, i forgot what they're called exactly.

>>2616659mesh synthetic underwear when its warm.
merino wool when its cold.
chafing is even worse for americans when you don't wear underwear because we have no foreskin naturally protecting the head of our penises. i had the head of my dick split open and start bleeding from all the dryness from a simple 12 mile hike freeballing in basketball shorts.
>>2616809hiking pants? about $100 but the pair i buy goes on sale $50 commonly.
most i've spent on pants in general? i've paid 600-800 importing stuff like samurai/onis before and i paid a bit under 3000 for my balmain leathers.
the most i'd pay? i need a good reason if its more than 500.
