In this weather, in about 5 days to a week I will have a jar of delicious pickles to pop in the fridge and enjoy. The best part? Aside from the pepper corns and chili flakes which were very optional and the salt which is vety cheap, everything else came from our garden. So aside from time gardening, which I love and the cost of watering the bed, this huge jar of pickles cost less than 10 cents to make.
