>I'm a good DIYer so if there is anything I could do to make things better/easier let me knowif you have the courage in you to drill some holes on it you can always lace the canoe and attach cheapest you can find rolled up children´s inflatable swimming mattresses to both ends for that extra floatation
clamp or tie everything to said lacing and you don´t have to worry about losing anything if you tip over
also drilling holes for pulling straps to both ends and something to lean you´re fishing rod against comes to mind
