Also Jim Baird. Also has a yt channel where he does multi week solo/duo trips often whitewater, in Canada/AK. He is the exact opposite of ultralight. He cut his hand open with an Axe while falling once and even then was 50/50 "fuck it let's keep going", then hiked back out 8k. The guy portages through ungodly terrain constantly with like 70# of gear plus a canoe.
His dog was super based too.
