I just made these because I want them and couldn't find them in my local shop. I tried to break some by tying it to #25 mono, then using the eye of a lure to pull on it. The 25 pound mono broke first every time.

>>2019103Do yourself a favour and choose between a normal canepole or a normal fly rod. Tenkara catches fish, but any fish you caught on tenkara you could catch on a cane pole or fly rod. Not every fish caught on a cane pole or normal fly rod can be caught on tenkara though.
