Pic related is germinating board by some 80 years old Finnish dude called chilivaari (chilligrandpa) from 2015 that i have been using since.
Basically place paper towel on top of some floating material and on top of that put coffee filters, paper towel will wick the moisture to your seeds and roots wont penetrate coffee filter.
Maybe its old news but i wanted to give praise to that old chilidude anyways.
