Think about the story that a fabric's fiber content tells. Nylon and polyester can add some water resistance/durability and have their place, but if you see acrylic in there, you're being scammed. Its ONLY advantage is being dirt-cheap, and the only reason it would ever appear in a $160 shirt is that the manufacturer thinks they can make a few more bucks off of you. A 25% wool shirt can hardly even be called a "wool blend..." that's a plastic shirt with some wool thrown in to jack the price up.
