This is a 2.5lb swedish felling axe. Also corroded to shit, but cleaned up and re-mounted on its original hickory handle.
You can see the water damage near the axe head where my dad tried to soak it in pure CLR to remove the rust on the head, years ago. I 'freed' it from his place and cleaned it up at my home. The water damage is just cosmetic, after soaking it in some linseed oil.
Only issues with this one is the handle isnt true to the head(perfectly straight in line with the cutting edge), but after someone swings it a few times, they learn to adjust to the warped handle.
