Fished last sunday with my Bro. I got 7'6" spinning rod for float fishing. I rigged it with 10lb braid and 10ft of 6lb fluro joined by a alberto knot. Snow was shitting on us half the day then rain the other half. I struggled at the begining of the day, then slowly learned how to drift the pink 3inch power worm I was fishing under an Ez float. I added the right amount of non reuseable shot and the drift became perfect. Lost a few fish including a rainbow that was pushing 4lbs then started nailing them. My bro and I even got a double. Driving back 200 miles through the ice and snow was fucking sketchy but completely worth it.
