Also, you may consider adding Garden Giant (Stropharia rugosoannulata) to the wood chips. It will of course decompose the chips faster, but you'll get nutrients to your plants faster and in return get lots of massive edible mushrooms. That is my plan as soon as I find another source for woodchips/sawdust in my area (local sawmill shut down.)
