I go out by my self most of the time but I can't say Ive actually had an encounter with a cougar except maybe once at night. like with any dangerous animal all you have to do is get educated. cougars don't want to fuck with from the start, your bigger than them. btw there are way more cougars in the mountains than the desert. don't let fear stop you, nature's pretty kind if you just pay attention.
