Nature again -- not something the people of CA are in control of
3) Hiking
Nature
4) Diversity
Literally the worst part of California. Mexican globlins throwing their trash everywhere. Smelly pajeets. Chinese spitting in the streets. The lowest quality humans I've ever seen.
5) Progressive
Literally the worst political atmosphere in the US. The most idiotic people make the decisions, and they kowtow only to non-contributing shriekers and disinterested, virtue signalling nerds. A horrible place to be if you have half a brain and actually pay taxes.
I always laugh when people boast about their "civilization" and allof the top line items are nature. That's great if you're going on a hike or looking to live in a cabin in the woods. CA people NEVER talk about their urban areas as a point of triumph, because they're utterly disgusting. Full of homeless. Covered in human feces. Needles everywhere. Illegals everywhere. Tent encampments under every bridge and under every overpass. No social unity -- road signs in 4 languages as if you're in some sort of Bladerunner dystopia (thanks, virtue signallers). Just a fucking mess.
I'm from Boston originally. There's great nature not too far away. However, if someone were to be moving to Boston for WORK -- like moving to Boston proper, you would never hear me boasting about the beauty of the White Mountain National Forest (nearby). I would talk about all of the great parts of BOSTON -- you know, the actual subject at hand! I'd talk about getting a canolli in the north end, beacon hill, the public garden, back bay, fenway park, etc etc
There's nothing like that in CA. My only advice to anyone considering visiting CA is to avoid all urban areas entirely. Skip SF. Skip LA. Just go to Tahoe, wine country, mendocino, and the beach. Basically avoid any area of appreciable population density. The people of california are a disgusting disease.
