>>2418541I'm down state as well. I usually fish the au sable south branch for trout. M tract is a great area. I'm thinking about heading further north to the pigeon river country state forest in the fall. It looks like a beautiful area with really good hiking, camping, and trout fishing. There is also a wild herd of elk in the area. Its a lot more remote as well. I'd like to stay around there for a week or so. If anyone is more familiar with the northern LP and can suggest anything better, let me know.
