Everything in working order - lights, horn, etc?
Take a look at the air filter. Is it clean-ish, or has it been totally neglected? That's a pretty good indication of the condition of the motor internals.
Obviously, receipts from a dealer with a service history show that a dealer's taken care of it, but a lot of people (myself included) do all the work on ther own and thus don't have receipts. I do have a good service record with miles/hours, so maybe asking for that if they do the work on their own.
Personally I'd rather buy a bike that's been ridden hard or raced but been taken care of, vs. a bike that some goon rides on the trails occasionally but never maintains because "nah, it's a dirt bike, bro!".
