And its affecting populations pretty bad. It sounds strange but based on the info provided from pic related, annual culls are set up to try to thin the infected herd.
So there is somewhat of a plague going on there.
Humans and the environment are at a strange point, we are a wasteful species. I wish people understood how to balance and use what you need more and what you want less.
